Biblical Evidence
This section will show the Biblical sources concerning the chronology of the last kings of Judah and the destruction of Jerusalem. Unless otherwise stated all Bible quotations are taken from the New International Version (NIV). But links and quotes will also be taken from the New World Translation (NWT).
Translations
NIV = New International Version, described by Wikipedia [1] as:
The New International Version (NIV) is an English translation of the Bible first published in 1978 by Biblica (formerly the International Bible Society). The NIV was published to meet the need for a modern translation done by Bible scholars using the earliest, highest quality manuscripts available. ... The NIV was updated in 1984 and 2011 and has become one of the most popular and best-selling modern translations.
NWT = New World Translation [2], described by Wikipedia [3] as:
The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (NWT) is a translation of the Bible published by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society. ... it is used and distributed by Jehovah's Witnesses.
